Vocations

Vocations in the Holy Apostolic Celtic Catholic Church

Listening to the Call, Walking the Ancient Path

In the Holy Apostolic Celtic Catholic Church, we believe that every person has a vocation—a sacred calling to live out God’s love in the world. Whether through ordained ministry, religious life, committed service, or contemplative prayer, vocation is not about status or title, but about responding to the quiet voice of the Spirit and becoming who you are truly meant to be.

A Church that Walks with You

We understand that discerning a vocation is a deeply personal and often mysterious journey. That’s why we walk alongside you—not to tell you who you should be, but to help you listen to God’s whisper in your soul. In the spirit of Celtic Christianity, we believe that God speaks through the heart, through nature, through community, and through deep inner knowing.

You do not need to be perfect. You do not need to have all the answers. You only need to be open.

Ordained Vocations: Deacon, Priest, and Bishop

The threefold ministry of Deacon, Priest, and Bishop is open to all people regardless of gender, sexual orientation, marital status, or background. If you feel called to serve the Church through ordained ministry, we welcome your discernment.

Deacons serve in compassion and outreach, standing at the threshold between church and world.

Priests serve the sacraments and walk with people in spiritual friendship and care.

Bishops shepherd the Church in unity, tradition, and sacred leadership.

Our process of formation is thoughtful, relational, and deeply rooted in prayer, theology, community, and Celtic Christian spirituality.

We also confer upon candidates the offices of Minor Orders.

Religious Life and Lay Commitment

For those drawn to a life of prayer, simplicity, and spiritual rhythm, the religious life—as monks, nuns, solitaries, or members of intentional communities—offers a path of deep surrender and joy. Celtic tradition honors the soul friend (anamchara), and many find vocation in being spiritual companions to others.

We also honor the vocation of the laity—those who live their faith in everyday life, in families, workplaces, creative arts, activism, and community. Every baptized person is called to ministry in the broadest and truest sense.

A Sacred Yes

Whether you are a seeker or a seasoned pilgrim, young or older, questioning or confident, we believe that God may be calling you. In the Holy Apostolic Celtic Catholic Church, your journey is holy, your gifts are needed, and your "yes" matters.

Let your life become a sacred offering. Let your path become a blessing to the world.
